Method 1: Using Google's Find My Device Feature
Google's Find My Device feature is a service from Google that allows all android phone users to locate their Android phone on a map, make it ring even if it is placed on silent mode or erase its data remotely. To use this feature, you need to have a Google account and ensure that the feature is enabled on your phone before it goes missing. Here's how to do it:
- Go to your phone's Settings app
- Scroll down and select "Google"
- Tap on "Security" if it doesn't show immediately like it did on my phone.
- Look for the "Find My Device" option and toggle it on
You can see that I did not download the app, but it is toggled on, on my phone and I can remotely access it.
Once you've enabled Find My Device, you can use it to locate your phone. Here's how:
- Go to your Google account from your browser.

- Check for Google Services and locate the find my device service.
- You will see a list of phones connected to your Google account and select your phone from the list of devices connected to your account.
